Default Well crap!

Dealer is on the way to pick up my 07 Ultra Classic. Last week if you recall, I had an issue with the starter making this ugly clunk before starting. Then it had a high pitched whine coming from the chaincase.
The noise was gone the next day and it started, although on occasion the starter just didn't sound right.

Well it took me about 20 minutes of trying to get it to catch enough to start after work today. Was grinding something fierce.

Hopefully it won't take too long to fix, it's supposed to rain the next 2 days anyway.
Bike only has 2300 miles on it so at least it's under warranty.
I have heard they have had starter trouble since going to the 96 inch engine.

Default RE: Well crap!

for some reason, mine did a clunk right after the engine fired up (kinda like the starter drive not disengaging fast enough). But oddly enough, after putting on the fuel moto stuff, hasn't happened since, go figure. But I'm not complaining
