I had a truck with 3 girls roll up to me at a stoplight and the driver said "nice bike!", and with out even blinking (or realizing what I said until the last word rolled off my tounge was "nice ****" and to my surprise! she lifted up her tank top and said THANKS! I almost dumped the clutch in my excitment!..... I couldn't believe that I even said what I did and even more surprised at her reply! man! wished I had a camera for that!
I'm going to try this.
Uhhhhh... Didn't you already just get out of the hospital?

So what is the proper response when someone compliments your bike?
Thank you, I love it because...........

and then I go on for 20 minutes, because, well...I'm a woman, and need I say more??!!

And then, if their not a rider they are sorry they said anything!!!

As cocky as most us can be it's cool to know that people appreciate the time effort and the cash that was spent to get our bikes the way the way that they do, wether it's a 40's flat to an 08 nighttrain, there all ours, on that note a simple thanks will suffice, latr

Pick your teeth...fart....then grunt and yell...."Rice Bike...WTF you talkin' about!!!!"
then kick their azz........
Funny post. LOL. I frequently get comps on my bike, Suede blue pearl/vivid black. I say "Thanks man/darlin', New color for 07. I get a lot of compliments on it. Waited 36 years for it". There isn't a wrong way to respond unless you say, "Yeah I know".
