WTK: Source for Aftermarket Parts

Are there aftermarket sources for HD parts, internal parts like you can find at your local HD dealer?

An example ... I need a fuel gauge sending unit for my 01 FXSTBI. HD's part # ia 75142-01 and the cost is $90. Pretty steep for such a small part and I'd like to know if aftermarket is available.

Is this just a pipe dream? Am I stuck with exagerated dealer prices?

Sounds like a dealer item but you could probably order it at an online dealer and save 20%.
