Got bike inspected and the DIPSH*T puts sticker on the fork
So I took my bike to get inspected since its due by the end of the month.
The DipSh*tcomes out and says that the little plate that he couldn't put the inspection sticker on the metal plate that has theold sticker on it because its not a fixed part of the bike and can be removed. The platewas attached with the bolt that holds the footboardand nobody else had issues attaching inspection stickers on it before.
So he just sticks the sticker on the front fork. Annoyed me a bit since the adhesive on the inspection tags doesn't come off things very easily. Now I have a bright blue sticker on front iork. So I add yet another shop to my list that I will never bring my bike to.

How stupid of that DIPSH*T to follow the rules. Do you do your job the way your supposed to? Maybe he's the first person that inspected your bike that realized the plate you had on there was a removeable part of the bike.

Must be based on the state or the shop. I guess 75% of the bikes i see in NC have the inspection sticker on the chrome plate not the front fork.

I had a conversation with the base police about the removable part idea and base stickers. All parts are removable by removing a bolt or two, it does not make a lot of sense to me, aren't the forks a removable part? No, I did not win the argument, lol.

i'm not sure what the big deal is.
I live in nh and every time I get my bike inspected the sticker goes on the fork.
It seems like that on every bike I see around here.
why's it a big deal?
