ORIGINAL: spotter

I bought a hd battery for my ultra three weeks ago from the stealer for 100.00 bucks. Plus I did get a reach around, plus, I saved a bunch of money on my insurance.
Your new battery saved you money on insurance?

Drove to Walmart, looked at all the batteries, bought one for $70 (+ or - a few)... charged it as suggested... would not turn the motor over. Jumped it with truck battery, still would not turn the engine over. Revved the truck engine while starting the bike, and the bike finally fired.

Went to the HD dealer, bought a new battery for $119, no filling or charging needed, posts are in a better position for my wiring, bike fires right up. Spent more money on the cheap battery and my time dealing with it than it was worth. You can find batteries elsewhere that will do the job (other than HD), but for me, it's not worth my time.

$162???? You could buy a small nuclear reactor from Ivan's discounts for that price.

It isn't the price of the battery that's up. The price of OIL is up.

They had to lube you up good first.
