What Do You Do At Your Dealer Shop?

RE: What Do You Do At Your Dealer Shop?
If I'm taking my bike for service, I hang outside, smoke a cigar, have a soft drink and kick back. I'll wander through the store most times and not buy anything because I think its too pricey, go back outside pull up a piece of sidewalk near the ashtray and smoke a second cigar if it takes that long. then I'm outta there.
I like to talk to the service manager when he has the time and 2 of the techs but other than the wait time don't usually waste time talking to the other salespeople or parts counter folks.

RE: What Do You Do At Your Dealer Shop?
I spent 15 months in Everett, WA. working there away from home here in Kansas.
Bought my bike in Bellevue.
FromBurlington to Tacoma to Silverdale, used to stop in to at least one of them everyweek while riding.
Sometimes in the car when it was raining, was just a place to go.
Don't care a whole lot for the bar scene, usually travel solo.
Enjoyed the company at them all, sort of like having friends a long way from home, felt welcome.
Now that I get back home Ihave been to the dealer here, not the same feeling at all!

There isonly 1reason I would go to my local dealer. I would pull up in my 30ft travel trailer and dump my black human waste tank on their front door step.Bob Schultz Motorcycle is not worthy of anything more than that.

I walk around till I find something I want to buy. Then walk around till I've convinced myself I can afford the purchase. Then walk around some more till I "man up" and put my money down.
Then I leave quickly before I give myself the chance request a refund.
