Oh no!
Drinking where there are motorcycles?
Don't you know discussing drinking on HDF will cause you to incur the wrath of the redeemed?
Oh man, I'm glad I'm not you....

We just had a column in our Mn newspaper concerning graduation parties. A minor may consume alcohol in the presense of, and with permission of, his legal guardian or parents. An adult, however, may not furnish alcohol to a minor other than his own child, unless the parents are present and with their permission. We also have a zero tolerance law for minors who drive with any amount of alcohol in their system.

I remember ND considering the same concept that MN and SD have because of HS grad (The thought is that it would keep some kids home grad night). Unfortunately, ND will probably never allow it, and that doesn't surprise me (not that it ever stopped us anyway).

Your son could also get married quick to someone older than 21....
South Dakota
- No one under the age of 21 is allowed to purchase, possess, or consume alcohol. But an 18 year old or older can drink alcohol if done in the immediate presence of a parent or guardian or spouse over twenty-one years of age. Also if under18 years old you can still drink alcohol as long it's in the immediate presence of a parent or guardian or spouse, who is at least twenty-one years of age, while not on the premises of an establishment licensed for the retail sale of alcoholic beverages. Also anyone under the age of 21 can not drive any motor vehicle with a BAC of .02 or higher. For anyone 21 years of age or older may not drive if they have a BAC of .10
