There are nearly as manyopinions on 'which glasses to buy' as there are opinions on bikes themselves! That said, a good read of lots of posts on the subject have pointed me in the direction of a Wiley-X 'climate control' model (witha light-adjusting lens). That's their version with a foam pad eye-cup.

They have eight different models in the climate control line. Which one to buyis the question.


I leaning towards thenew 'Jake' model. Has anyone tried it? Comments? (I believe 'Jake' is the same as the also new 'Airborne.' Jake is black; Airborneis brown).

Any models you like? Models to avoid? The others in the line I'd consider would be the:

- Top Jimmie
- Brick
- Ink

Have not tried or seen the 'Jake" model but I think Wiley-X makes a quality product. I have two pairs of the XL-1 and like them. I bought them on sale for $20 each through info received on this forum. I keep dark lenses in one pair and clear in the other.

 

I saw that the link to that XL-1 deal ...too late. They were all gone. That was some sort of a 'close out' or 'over-stocked' sale, but they're still selling the same model ...for about four times the price!
