Mine came loose about a week after installation. Once. Used a better glue. Done. Love the grips with the throttle boss. Wouldn't change or trade them.

They used to come with a rubber cement type glue and I never heard of any coming loose. I purchased a set for my new scoot last September and the glue that came with them is a super glu type, and wouldn't you know one of them came loose. Wont ever use that glue again, back to rubber cement type.

It's the glue, not the grips. Before I buy anything I research the tech. forums---so when I bought my Kuryakyn grips two years ago I knew not to use the glue that came with them.
Still, it sucks, and you'd think they would have had their azzes sued enough by now to use a better glue.

I had a grip turn loose over glue in the past. Next set of grips I bought after that clamped in both lever assemblies. I was looking at fat sacs but I don't like glueing on my grips. That decision steered me to hd grips that lockin lever assemblies.

I appreciate this post. My brother just picked up a set of those exact grips and hasn't installed them yet. I'll get him on the horn and let him know. Sorry you had to go through it but thanks for the heads up!

I Bought a set of Flame grips for Kuryakan and the stealer put them on crooked. The left didnt match the right. Was kinda weird riding with them. I took it back so they could fix it and they couldnt get either side off. They had to cut them off and put on new ones.
