Default Bike Shippers - LTL recommendations

Hey All - Im looking at possibly shipping a bike. What shippers have you used that are reliable and reasonabley priced - aka cheap I found JC Motors and they seem good. Any others?

I would not use a regular freight LTL co.(i drive for one)
unless you build a sturdy crate that a forklift can get under
oruse a bike shipping outfit,

Apprecite the LTL info. JC Motors specializes in bike transprt - they provide the crate, straps and bike cover. Sounds like looking at bike specialty transports is the way to go.

When I had my bike shipped from Florida to Michigan the dealer I bought it from recommended JC Motors. One big difference is the experience. One bad difference, LTL will deliver a lot quicker. The motor transporter will zig-zag back and forth across your part of the country (or zone) picking up and dropping off vehicles.

I believe it was $700 to ship. LTL might have cost $2500 - $3000.
