No inspections where I live but the motorcycle endorsement test makes the auto driver's test look like a cake walk. The inspector that graded my test said I was only the second cyclist that ever got all the questions right in his over 8 years on the job. I am a genius though....not.

Michigan allows you to ride or drive anything on the streets. You should see what some people drive and get away with. Fenders flapping, no taillights, smashed body parts, Etc.
Been rideing since 1974 and have never had to do a motorcycle inspection.

Nevada: Safety inspection is required when registering out-of-state used bikes the first time. Safety inspection is not required for new bikes from Nevada dealer or used bikes with a prior Nevada registration. They look for VIN #, lights, turn signals and mirrors (two mirrors required). I have never known an inspector to even glance at an exhaust system. Never have to have another inspection. No sticker required. No emissions ever. DOT approved tires are NOT required on motorcycles. Have to show proof of insurance and title. Do not have to show "Motorcycle" endorsement on your license to register, but is required along with minimum insurance coverage to ride legally. ................. BC
