Default Lil Suzuki

Actually was looking at little 250 suzuki the other day, they claim it gets 85mpg and will do 65 on highway - maybe something for going back and forth to work and would save a heap of money on my Mobil bill. Not sure what happens when the tandem 18-wheelers come flying by me at 85mph, suppose just hang on and lean into it!!

Is that how you get the 85 mpg hanging on to the side of an 18 wheeler?? [sm=alcoholic.gif]

Great course, yes it isn't too fun riding on smaller non harley. But then again no worries if you "dump it". There are tons of greta things to be relearned and taught there. Well worht your time and money. I would almost say if you go and don't learn anything I would pay you for the course (but I won't say that) Not that I don't trust people here, but hey if I could get someone to pay for me to go I would

Thanks RetroHarley and Cryptoboy
We have something similar over here that is run by the Swedish Motorcycle Assosiation. Every spring they have one day classes for those who wishes to 'derust' after our long winters.
This year one insurance company offers a ~20% rebate on the insurance policy if you take one of the classes!
Do you have something similar over there?

Hi
Maybe its me, but I get a kick of riding anything with two wheels and a motor, even those little bikes (once in a while) .

To me the course is worth every penny and teaches rider to be more aware.

The msf courses supply the bikes, the little 250's, real easy for figure 8's and so forth and not as easy on your regular big bike. Still, teach you some good habits and pick up on some bad ones, plus the insurance discount - a good deal.

Pierre: I took one back in the 70's when I got my Ohio MC license. Very good idea. I have considered taking a refresher. The classroom part is sometimes where you realize you have forgotten some of the "rules of the road". I have taken safety courses for my boat as well so I probably should takc the MC refresher.
