Never content.
I know I deserve to be flamed for this. I bought my '08 Anniversary Custom last August. Spent an easy $2000.00 in goodies but started thinking I should have bought a Street Glide. I love the bike and the feel. Get tons of questions and comments. I just seem to be changing my riding habits to more distance then before. plus the fact that I'm 45 and I am wanting more comfort.
My wife and I both have Katanas we use for major highway stuff. No offense but these bikes get me there quick and easy. They are considered sport/touring. I certainly can't trade my bike and take a hosing. Selling in todays market is a joke. So I made my choice now live with it.[&o]

I'm the opposite. I've got vehicles that I have owned for nearly 20 years and still love. Matter of fact, my 2000 Road King is the last vehicle that I bought. After riding a Sporty for 8 years, I knew I wanted bags and a shield. The Road King came out in 1994 and it took me 6 years before I could get in the spot that I felt was right to buy. I've put 70k miles on my Road King, have seen a lot of country and made a lot of memories. It looks like I want it to, runs like I want it to, and is as dependable as the day is long. I wouldn't trade it even for a new one.

Sounds like my Honda.
Just kidding, kind of. Put 67k on that bike before I totalled it. I could never have traded it in or sold it after getting just exactly like I wanted it.
Now I'm starting over. Exciting, but I can't wait until everything fits perfect.

Hind sights always 20/20. I bought a used Road King to save a couple $$ but I've spent enough on it that I could have bought a new Streetbob like I originally intended. I'm happy with my RK but every time I'm at the dealer I sit on a Streetbob and have second thoughts.[&o]
