Default ok i'm ready for the criticism...pictures of my wreck

dont hold back. im a big boy i can handle it. Blue Ridge Parkway 4-30-08. i looked down to unzip a sleeve. when i looked up i was deep in this corner. i remember everything. i didn't panic. i countersteered started draggin board, then board support, rode for a little while in the grass. realized it wasnt happening, jumped off left side. hit butt first, then knee, then face, head, and finally arm. surgery is done. i'm shopping and trying to decide what to get. no msf course. plan on taking it as soon as i'm riding again. this one was all on me, totally my fault.

Glad to see your OK, and will ride again. I have had a couple of close calls, because I took my mind off the rode for a sec. Lucky it has not ended up on the ground. The only time I was on the ground was due to a Ford F150 ran me over from the rear. I have heard everyone, if you ride long enough, will hit the ground, hopefully you and I have ours out of the way. Ride Safe.

Next time wait for a straightaway to unzip your sleeve[&:]

Seriously glad it wasn't worse....If you had not reacted the best you could it might have been. Heal quick!

Sorry for your luck.Glad nothing was coming the other direction around the corner or you didn't plummet off a cliff side. Buddy dropped one on the Dragon a few years back, slid right to the edge of the road and then dropped out of sight, 30 feet down. Gotta ask though, did you get the sleeve unzipped?

ouch. good to see you're around to tell about it, and remind people that it doesnt take much to lose focus and end up on pavement.

as far as the msf course, i took the riders edge class and don't regret it, there were 2 people in there that had been riding for a while, 1 guy for a long while and both couldnt be believe how much they really DIDNT know when it came to riding.
