2 kind of riders, Been down or Going to go down,
You got yours done and will ride again. Count your blessings and leave the zippers alone from now on. LOl
Glad to hear you will be fine

At least you were wearing all your gear! Could have been much, much worse.
OK, since everyone else is being so nice and you said to let you have it, here goes...
You can't ride on AUTO-PILOT on that road or any mountain road for that matter! Pay attention and pull over if you need to adjust something! What would you have done if the curve were going the other direction? Having ridden that road many times, you and I both know there aren't guard rails at every turn!
---------
Was that good enough? I can try to be meaner if you want!
On the bright side, look at it this way: Now you can get rid of that Heritage in your photo and go get a Street Glide!

I've been known to pull some pretty dumb chit on a scooter. I have no room to talk. Looks like you learned your lesson and are able to ride again. That's what's most important.

well judging from the law suit I saw on the evenng news you could sue the state for issuing you a license , the engineer that designed the road, the contractor who built it , the manufacture of your jacket and the company that made the zipper, harley davidson and who ever made the floor boards for your bike and the preson who sold you the bike , or you can man up like you did and admit a mistake was made an learn from it. good luck with the msf course and I hope you heal soon .
