My shoe laces got wrapped around my bicycles crank as I was pedaling when I was a kid boy did I bust my *** hitting the ground, **** note to self remember the same can happen while on the scoot.....

I've had that happen a number of times. I don't use the footbrake that often so it was not an issue-just an annoyance. Finally, I just wrapped the laces around and tucked 'em in. Problem solved.

LBWiser, that would be a pretty long chain!!! But you never know. I've used the chain wallet for years, never had a problem.......

I have laces, but my boots also have zippers... Adjusted the laces to fit comfortably, tied them in double knots, so they don't come undone, and are high enough that they wouldn't be a problem under my jeans anyway. Also, top that off with the chaps, and I don't worry about laces.

Reminds me of the tractor scene in Footloose (Ok am I showning my age?)

I have the boots that have the buckle that goes across the lace so it does not fly loose. Always make sure I have nothing near the wheels or the excessively hot items such as the pipes. It's always the weirdest thing that gets you.

BTW...Glad he kept his head and stopped safely.
