Default Dyna rear wheel centering?

O.K. I helped my buddy change his oil and our bikes were parked side by side. Later, after he, I mean, we were done, I was leaning on the back of the truck looking at the rear of both bikes parked parallel and noticed that his rear wheel was in the center of the rear fender whereas mine was shifted off to the right side of the fender. I can get my fngers between the brake side of the fender and the tire and can move my fingers around in open space on the rotor side between the fender and the tire.
I must state that my bike rides fine, no wobbles or mishandling and nothing at all seems to be amiss with the ride either solo or two-up with the wife.
Why is his 2007 Dyna FXD rear wheel in the center of the rear fender and mine, 2006 Dyna Low Rider, is not?
Can this be corrected or should I leave it alone?
I must say that I have not paid much attention to my or other bikes concerning this since I got mine but I will be looking now.[/align]

measure from the frame and see what you end up with. Is your rotor running true ? Is the belt centered on the pulley ??

Probably more of a fender issue than a tire issue, just a guess though.
I would straight edge the side of the rear tire and see if it is really that off center to the frame.
