They could probably lower your premium even more if they reduced their mailings. I get hit just about every week.

I pay under 750.00 a yr thru Dairyland for 3 bikes,full coverage,365 days a yr....1000 deductable....

 

I had a claim with Geico a couple of weeks ago. Called on a Wed Night. The adjuster was at the dealership on Fri morning and I had a check less deductible the next week.

$187 a year. BUT, I also carry my homeowners and car insurance with them. All are very competitively priced. I also get multiline discounts, good driver discounts, senior discounts. Car has the same coverage at $292/year. Homeowners is $310/year full replacement and contents. I think it pays to take advantage of multiline discounts if offered. Some folks may need to up the limits to protect assets and stuff.

 

Based on GeeDee's rates, I've got another reason to be glad I'm not in L.A.

I wouldn't normally have the high priced Medical payments coverage, but my lady and I both have health insurance with very high deductibles--$5000 in my case.

 

Goodbirds, you should check on raising those liability limits, if that is all you carry. $25K wouldn't even pay for the first couple of days if you cause someone serious injury.

We have friends who were hit by an underinsured driver in Michigan, which also allowslow liability rates, and that person now has 33% of her income being garnished by the courts to be paid towards our friends' medical bills.

 

allstate 100/300 grand liability, ect ect and i was bitchin about 397 per yr, guess i should be happy, son lives in calif, and pays triple , with same coverage
