Default Grips and pegs

Anyone have any opinions, particularly based upon personal experience, on the HD grips and pegs in terms of functionality? While the motivation to change them may be purely asthetic they are not purely decorative items.

No...while not purely decorational, they can add to your bike's look ~ if you're going for one. Me? Well, I got a denim Street Bob and went with the less chrome look. I settled on the Nostalgic grips cuz they reminded me of my old bike and then the Diamond Black series of pegs came out while it was in storage at the dealer. They definitely fit the look I was going for. The grips are quite comfy and the pegs...well, they're pegs and I put my feet on them and use the brake and shifter peg, too.

The pegs are actually my biggest concern. It's a bit of a stretch for me to reach the forward controls on the fat bob. Mostly just a problem out on the interstate doing 80 mph when I'm fatigued.
