Whats to fix, you can leave it as is & just ride or you can add pipes, fuel management, air cleaner & spend lots of $$$. Buyers choice. All depends on what you want out of your ride.

With the stock pipes it still pops. You just don't hear it!

At the very most, I'll probably add some Rinehart slip-ons. I don't want the bike to run lean. Therefore I'd want them to correct that condition before leaving the shop with it, and without having to spend a small fortune for upgrades that I really don't want. I just don't want the bike to run that lean.

Make sure you have a good seal between your header pipes and your muffler (s) , on decel it will suck air in and pop if not . On my V&H I had to remove the bolt stop on the clamp , at the tightest I could turn the muffler with little effort . I also used some Hi-temp silicone , now it pops maybe 25% of what it used to and much quieter , more of a rumble .

Put high temp copper gasket sealer on all joints let dry overnight and retork all clamps after it's hot .. Steve
