Default spoke wheels

Anyone got any issues regarding spoked wheels? I'm leaning toward a EGC that has "smooth" or spoked wheels on it. It seems like I read thread once where someone was complaining about them...just wanna know you folks experiences, Thanks.

Hard to keep clean. Looks nice when they are though.

I love spoked wheels. Never really had a problem keeping them clean, but I also don't enter my bike in shows. To me, nothing can replace the classic look of spoke wheels.

I wouldn't own a bike with spoke wheels. I don't want tubed tires.

I prefer modular wheels simply because I'd rather not have a tube tire but obviously it doesn't deter me from buying a bike with spoke wheels.

spoked (laced) wheels will eventually come loose when you least expect them too, unless you check em often, when they come loose your bike will start to wobble big time at high speedsyou

I prefer wheels without tubes, so I can possibly repair a flat on the side of the road. Spokes = tube tire, cast wheel/mag wheel= tubeless tire.

Not for me. Changed mine out very quickly for most of the reasons stated above. However, I do like the look of spokes on lots of bikes. Just not mine.

I like the easy maintenance & strength of my forged aircraft aluminum tubeless roadwinder wheels.

Never have had problems with spoke wheels. I do catch myself monitoring tire pressure more carefully though (should anyways!) and especially now with the 21" front of my FXSTC.
