I agree. It just seems like it isn't cool anymore to like Harley's. Maybe we should all sell our bikes and...........................well hell, I've been riding Harley's for so long I don't know what else to do. Screw it, let's ride.

The only motivation I need to ride is memories of being a kid in the 70s and seeing packs of bikers go buy on the road.Real bikers I mean with costom rides coffin tanks,lots of chrome,raked out,springers,long hair,etc.Always hooked from then situations kept from getting on a bike for alot of years.Always held out to get a hog.Didnt want to be a poser I wouldnt even buy a harley shirt felt fake having one and no ride.As for the doo rag been wearing them for years to keep dust off the dome and sweat out of my eyes at work,now to avoid sunburning bald spot!Didnt buy my ride because everyone thinks its cool and I have bottomless credit card.Ride in the same clothes I live in no suit in my closet not even for funerals.I dont know what started the whole doo rag biker phenom but to each his own my rags come from fruit of the loom plain old snot rags no pre made starter rag for me not ever and unless your aunt jemima tuck in the dang flap will ya!Enough of my B.S.drank too much coffee!

HD is an american icon and could sell motorcycles without anytype of marketing plan and probably come out just as well. My deal is this, you can buy a motorcycle but you can't buy being a biker. To me seeing 30 people leaving a dealership all wearing their brand new doo rags that say "Screw it let's Ride" just kills the whole idea of being an individual.

 

I liked the slogan myself. I went in to get some parts and asked for the rag. They were out so apparently a lot of folks liked it. I just wanted to hang it up in my shop where I keep the scoot. I am amazed at the number of people that seem hate HD. Go buy a friggin Suzuki for crying out loud. No wonder so many American companies end up overseas. If they all get the amount of support HD does....

 

I tried to "Screw it" after a ride! Don't do it, I burned my talliwhacker on the mufflers! OUCH
