DO YOU LET PEOPLE RIDE YOUR BIKE?

RE: DO YOU LET PEOPLE RIDE YOUR BIKE?
I've let guys I know that are experienced riders ride mine, and they do likewise.
They enjoy theexperience of riding a different bike, and I do, too. Good example is a buddy with a beemer- he rode my Ultra, me on his beemer. Maybe a 50 mile ride. When we stopped, we "discussed" what we liked and disliked about both bikes. Actually, his beemer was waaaaay ahead in technology, ABS, etc. - kick *** brakes and tons more power than my HD. He liked the comfort and riding position of mine. Both are '05's.
Not sure what the big deal is, it's a friggin motorcycle.

In the early 70s I had a bud with a knuckle chop, I had a 56 pan chop. Neither was always running so it was understood that if asked, we would let the other ride ours. A couple of others in our loose nit group would do the same, so if anyone was Jonesing he could relieve the pain a little.
For the last few years I've found a riding buddy who feels the same, he can ride my Evo chopper and I can ride his softail.
At a recent rally this came in real handy cause my chop got wrecked earlier and I haven't gotten it together. Putting a few miles on his softail was the highlight for me.

There is a select few of the fellas I ride with that have ridden my bike. I trust them and have never even had a second thought about tossing my keys their way.

Nobody has ever asked except my 20 year old son , he has zero experience on a two wheeler , the obviuos answer is NO to him . His Mom and I love him too much to say yes , although one time he was shooting off his mouth in front of his girlfriend so I threw him the key . He about crapped himself - could'nt give the key back quick enough , called his bluff big time .
Might let one of my HD owning buddies try the Deuce out with the understanding that if they damage mybike , theirs is mine until my bike is repaired !

There is only two other people that have ridden my fxr (when I had it) and we traded so it was fair. I never let them just "take it for a spin" - Would I? These two guys have been friends for over 20 years and I would. But they wouldn't because they have their own. No one has ever ridden my RKC at this point and I would have to say other than these two very close friends the answer is Hell NO!!!
