DO YOU LET PEOPLE RIDE YOUR BIKE?

RE: DO YOU LET PEOPLE RIDE YOUR BIKE?
I don't have a problem with it, as long as its someone I choose. I have a bigger problem with a tech riding it since they have a big sign that says they are not responsible for loss or damage while in their care.
I swap rides with friends all the time.

One friend who got me into riding and if my son had enough experience to handle a bagger, possibly but nobody else. If they want to experience one, go rent. If you can't afford to rent, you can't afford to fix damage to my bike
Good looking bike, good looking wife, don't want a rod thrown in either one

RE: DO YOU LET PEOPLE RIDE YOUR BIKE?
Only 2 people have been on my bike...one is my best friend who's been riding for over 40 years and I'd trust with my life...the other is an old school, life long rider and friend who is one of the best wrenches I know, and I wanted his opinion on some performance tuning I'd had done...other than that, I'd never ask to ride another man's bike, and I can't believe the number of guys who ask to ride mine...wtf?

RE: DO YOU LET PEOPLE RIDE YOUR BIKE?
There's a very small number of people I would trust to ride my bike, their people I know that can and do ride regularly. I would never let someone "try out" my bike just to see what it's like to ride, it's an accident waiting to happen.

I have a cousin who lets me ride his bike when I'm in Connecticut. He can use mine anytime. Otherwise, it would have to be a very close friend/relative whom I trust and has a motorcycle license.
