Myrtle Beach Bike Week - first weekend PICS (well at least one)
Well I am back, I hate I could only stay 3 days. Took us 7 1/2 hours each way. On the way down, we saw more trailers than we did riders. Got a little rain Sunday morning but rode anyway. Got soaked but by the time we spend a couple hours at Murrells Inlet Harley and the vendors, it had cleared up mostly and we started drying out. Murrells Inlet Harley didn't have half bad prices on their clothing, but parts were normal prices.
Strip club were okay, there were cards for either free admission or a free drink for most of them.We only went to one of them, but I am sure they are all about the same. Not too crowded and the girls looked good, although they don't go total nude.
Girls at Hooters Murrells Inlet should not be missed and make sure you stay for the bikini contest. Get a seat if at all possible near the t-shirt sales area.
Vendors were good. Picked up a leather vest for $30 and t-shirts were 3/$25. The vendors aroundMurrells Inletwere closing early and said they were not doing too much business
HB Spokes was nothing to brag about, but it was Sunday night and they were not serving alcohol. Some nice bikes...just wish I had $16k to get the old school springerI fell in love with.
Rat Hole...oh God what can I say...if you miss it, you miss one hell of a time. Best buns contest was good, but the late wet t-shirt contest blew any strip club away I have been to lately. Cops had to threaten to shut it down when one girl (who won by the way), dropped her pants to thigh level with not panties. Although it was a wet t-shirt competition, the t-shirts either came off or went up once they hit the stage. Got around 250pictures, but 95% are not forum friendly since they are R rated. Plenty of nice bikes to drool over too.
All in all, it wasn't crowded, but it was opening weekend. Temps were nice but Monday it was a little cool. Wind was a little rough, blowing sand was bad too.
Hated pulling back into Georgia and putting that God-awful helmet back on.

RE: Myrtle Beach Bike Week - first weekend
I went Friday morning and came back Sunday Mid-day. I couldn't believe it we were riding in on Hwy 9 about 3 or 4 miles before HB Spokes and there was a trailer from North Carolina pulled over with a Fatboy and a bagger offloading so they could ride into town????
Trailor Warriors, Ya gotta love-em-------NOT!!!!!

RE: Myrtle Beach Bike Week - first weekend
I might censor some of the other pictures and scale down the size to post them tonight.
There were a lot of trailers parked in North Myrtle Beach, saw even a few with SC plates. Buddy picked up a "NICE TRAILER Pu--y" shirt that he got a kick out of riding around in. Only casultly was my horn cover, damn thing just broke and fell off, metal just snapped in half for whatever reason. I was going down the road and heard a clang-clang-clang and looked down and it was gone.

RE: Myrtle Beach Bike Week - first weekend
mmmhmmm...we just got back yesterday and I definitely have to 2nd you on the Rat Hole being a great place to go. Great people..lots going on...and I won one of the contests on Saturday night.
SBB was absolutely wild, and we enjoyed the DB Bryant band at the Dog House on Friday. Totally disappointed in the lack of vendors at the Hard Rock amusement park. Next year we'll spend more time at Broadwayat the Beach..never did make it to Senor Frogs.
I'll have to look at the hubby's pics, but doubt very many could be posted here. He was in 7th heaven because he met two **** stars at Broadway..and of course all the women at SBB who pose for tips.
Good times-
Cassie
