The stealership is like a box of chocolates.....
One guy tells you this can not be done the next guy says it can.
Buying a bike can be the same as going to the high risk pool in Jersey for a loan.
Unfortunately for us bikers, we may view the HD dealership as a place to escape the invasion of forien companies on our soil. Sort of an extension of the brotherhood. A place to connect about something that hits the heart of all true blooded Americans trying to be a part of one of the last bits of American legends. Baseball is selling out, Chevy is all but foriegn, hot dogs are hanging in there and if HD is not smart the only thing left will be apple pie.

Thank God for this web site, this is where you can find out what you need to know. Then go to the dealer and tell them what you need. If you need service be sure to check your nuts and bolts before you pull out.

If you call it a 'stealershp'.....there is no excuse...and I would put you
to the end of the line also (just because it was the right thing to do).
It does sound like there was more to your story.
If the dude told you "you were last in line for Saterday." and you said "OK"...
then 'bite it.' You said OK......and you were last. End of arguement.

Save your money. Do it yourself. No reason not to.

I would'a got back on my bike and rode to another dealer. Thats BS. When you pick up the bike tell them to send you a bill. You'll draw from a hat and see if it gets paid.

If they keep letting the word out that they work that way, it will be a free for all brawl there at 5:30am for a spot in line. Or not.
