Are you sure they weren't filming "Dukes of Hazzard II" ?

Glad you lived to tell the tale.

Love to watch "COPS". Youngest son & I were watching some years back and they showed a chase in our area. Kind of funny to be watching that and recognizing the roads they are going down.

Costs are so high for DUI. Lawyer, fines, license, jail time, insurance, driving school, public service etc, that it almost makes sense to run and/or shoot it out to avoid being caught. And no, I've never had a DUI.

Traffic has changed alot since we lived in Orange County, CA (21 years ago). I still hate driving in that crap and have to this Sunday. The damn toll road gets as high as $9. and something. Anyway, good job keeping cool - I would have shot my pants!
Don't know if this still works. Back in 02 when I was useing them you could do it for free if you didn't go through the toll booth and when yougothrough the transponders you need to be splitting the lane and thetheywill not pick you up. Worked back then but I don't know about now.

Glad you survived it without a mishap. That driver could have used you to draw the attention away from himself.

I don't believe that the costs for DUI are high enough.

Please tell me you're not being serious. Shoot it out?
