well they have offered me 16962. should i work them 4 more or what do ya'll think? 18k on the ride. i know they r a dime a dozen now a days. i had 3k in accessories.

look it up in kelly blue book and nada see what retail is, then you have an idea.

Was it the other guys fault? If so, press to get you back to where you were; threaten lawyers since that drives up the cost drastically.

If it was your fault, not sure what you can do; they'll pay blue book and any accessories specified in your policy.

 

It take it and run.

 

Swap out all your accesories, and put your bike back to stock! Pimp all the accesories out on Ebay......

you might also ask them to quote you on a "buyback" price, where they write you a check for less money, but you get to keep the bike and possibly repair it. Only issue with this scenario is the insurance company will then issue you a "salvage" title.

 

How long have you had your ride? Know what your ride is worth first, most insurance companies are aware of add ons Progressive will allow up to $3 K more.Be honest with your insurance company. After they have offered you their best deal, see if you can buy it back and fix it yourself if you have the capabilities and or would like to keep the bike?

 

How about $15K and you keep the bike. (if you keep it there isn't a salvage title)
