Too close of a call!

Too close of a call!
Yesterday on my way home about a mile from my exit my front end felt a little squishie but I thought nothing of it so I proceded to take my 20 mph turn off the freeway at 50 as I always do when my front tire rolls off the rim dead flat at 45-50. After throwing some sparks and going off into the dirt I kept the shiny side up thanks to my gaurdian angel. Anwaise just glad it was'nt my turn to go down. Sorry to here that others wern't so lucky!

You sound lucky, your friends should rub your head. I guess next time you notice that unusual squishy feeling, you'll pay more attention, eh?

I went down on the ultra a couple months back and all it seemed to do was grind the crash bar. I was impressed with the lack of damage to the bike. I slid out in a corner, actually lost traction in a turn getting on the 101 loop here in phoenix and over corrected and put the crash bar on the pavement and slid. While sliding my edge of my boot caught pavement and twisted my foot so the bike caught it and spun it the rest of the way, till it broke my leg in two places and ripped my ligamens free, actually broke a chunk of bone loose that the ligament was attached to [:@] But I'm doing well, and the bike seems fine. I still have to take it in to get checked though.
I had the tire on my sportster go way down when I was riding, so I stopped and filled it twice on the way to the shop to get it repaired. Rolled in and left it while I went to work and came back to a new tire, all nice and ridable That was a wobbly ride on the way to the shop though
Glad you're alright, but you missed out on the percocets and vikaden Plus my buddy said I can get a medical card in california, where I'm thinking of moving to!

You should have left the bike, gone and bought some Powerball tickets, then gone back to get the bike.
