I just rode to vegas and back this week. Wish I would have thought of ear plugs would have been a more peaceful ride with them. The engine noise doesn't bother me but the wind is horrible. Other than that it was a great ride and suprisingly no bugs. I thought it was gonna be a bug nightmare.

 

Long rides at high speeds I love ear plugs, for the wind also.

 

Sometimes I wear them and often on the highway when I forgot to put them in I regret it. You are right about the wind noise, notice your ears ringing when you stop? That means you are damaging your hearing.

 

I read somewhere that the decibel levels of wind noise at highway speeds are bad for your hearing within in about 15 minutes. I'm all for ear plugs!

 

Yep a few weeks ago I just got into work and Im talking to my employees and they seem to be ignoring me, Im thinking to myself did I do something wrong, Turns out Im talking low nobody is hearing what I was saying. I thought i was talking normal i must have been mumbling. I need to start wearing them daily

 

I wear them when Im working on the bike and the wife is home.

 

95% of the time they're in for wind noise.

Tried 'em about two years ago and use them all the time now. Cuts the wind noise as said. Helps me stay more focused and less fatigued on long rides.

 

I like wearing them on long rides. It really cuts the noise down and it almost feels like it makes for a smoother ride.
