Parking Space in the Parking Lot????
How do you park your bike when you are at the "mall? Do you park off to one side or do you park right in the middle, just as if you were parking your car or truck? I was at the mall yesterday and when I came out some arsewhole parked his metric cruiser in my space and I had a heck of a time getting out. I wanted to violate his bike, but I resisted. Did not have any paper or pen to leave him/her a nice little note. I never park my bike if the space is taken unless I'm at a function with tons of other bikes. Your thoughts please....

I angle the bike to prevent anyone from pulling another bike in with mine (if I'm alone) and to prevent anyone from hitting the bike with a car door.
Should have kicked the inconsiderate ***** bike over.

I'd never park in the same spot as another bike (if I don't know the guy)
I park right in the middle of the spot, and always make sure the bike isn't pushed too far in because (at malls in particular) I've noticed cars trawling up and down lanes looking for a spot tend to swing in the the spot your bike is parked until they see it at the last second. If I leave it so some of the back end shows, cars won't start to pull in my spot.

I imagine I'll park my next bike the way I always parked my other bikes. It'll be to the side. I never park in the middle of the doors. Too many people want to put their fingers on the bike that way. Yep, to the side of the doors is best.

I don't think it would bother me one bit if someone ona bike park in the same space as me. It really is not that big of a deal to not lift my bike completely upright and back out if they are parked a little too close.
Now if there were a lot of empty spaces he/she could have used then I would question why they felt the need.
Also is your problem really that they parked in your same spot or that it was a foreign bike. Don't really see why you found it necessary to point it out otherwise!

The heck with leaving a note, just move your bike to block exit from the parking spot lock the forks and go back in the mall with his bike blocked. It will make him think twice about crowding up in a parking spot next time.

I personally would never park in the same stall if already occupied. If someone was to do it to me I would be irritated but would leave it at that.
I park right in the middle of the stall, slightly towards the back to be seen.
