Default Hart to shift into neutral/burnt sell to primary fluid

I recently had a 6 speed tranny installed (Accessories Unltd) and ever since the install I have not been able to shift into neutral unless I shut the bike off and then click it into neutral. I just did an Iron Butt 1000 over the weekend and now the primary fluid smells burnt and the bike wants to walk forward when the clutch lever is pulled in. I am also running a HB125 automatic primary tensioner. I feel the chain might be too tight and was thinking about going back to the stock primary adjuster set up. Anyone else have any other ideas or am I on the right track?

For the clutch, I am running the Energy One kevlar clutch plates and using dino primary fluid.

Thanks,

Mike

your clutch was never adjusted properly. it sounds like it would never fully disengage. every time you pulled the clutch in, the clutch plates would grind on each other instead of totally separating. the smell is the burned up clutch plates.
