Default RoadLoc front disc Security Locking system

At the Virginia Beach Bike Classic today. Found a new disc brake caliper locking system but does not clamp on like the conventional caliper system.

This system is bolted directly onto the fork lower and then your brake caliper bolts to it. It has a security pin system that locks in to a hole in the front "Disc" of the brake. It will not allow you to roll period. Thats especially good if you forget to undo the lock. Unlike that other brand (I'm not specifing any by name) that clamp onto the brake disc and could allow you to travel up to 4 or 5 feet and really mess things up and even cause you to be thrown off the bike if you tried to ride with it on.

I not afilliated in any way buy this product, but I did get one on order since they were out today for my bike model.

Just check it out at this link. I did order the black. (H8 chrome and I dont' think chrome holds up to brake dust as well as black).

Will give a review on how it installs and the use of it when I receive it and install it.

Thanks to member Chief X, who is the dealer that sold it to me.

Maybe a better mouse trap? The video makes it look easy.

Keep us informed.

By the way, I have the Xena with motion sensor alarm. Don't think I'd get 4 or 5 feet, but who knows. I've heard stories, but never in my life have I seen someone try to take off with their dics locked and get thrown from their bike.

I am thinking about getting the Xena. With the alarm, I would think it would be tough to forget. Doesn't the alarm go off when you stand the bike upright from the stand?

I have the Xena also and yes if ya try to take off with the Xena attached it will let you know it's there!
With that said it would still be interesting to know about other locks. Ram--let us know how ya like the roadlok system.

Sorry for the delay all.

I love the new lock. It looks great, works great and it took longer for me to get the bike out of the garage, locate my tools then to install it.

MOST Highly Recommend it to anyone! With or with out an alarm system.

Thanks for the update. Doesn't look that out of place on the bike either.
