want to go to bike week but wont have a fortane and was wondering if they let you put up a tent along the street or at any bars. might just be a sleeping bag. Are you allowed to sleep next to you bike in a parking lot? are there any campgrounds or can we just sleep on the beach. just fishing for some answers never been there and aint going to pay I third my rent for one night

 

When you get there you might want to check at the Rat's Hole. If they won't let you crash there, they should be able to tell you where you can.

 

I doubt if you are gonna find any place in the city other than a campground that will let you pitch a tent.

If you want to camp, the cheapest will be Myrtle Beach State Park. It is less than a mile from the HD shop.

Rooms at Myrtle aren't all that expensive during bike week. I generally pay 60-80 per night. If you are just gonna be there one night, finding a budget "one night special" is not hard to do for usually less than 50 bucks on most weeknights during bike week.

 

Staying in a hotel the first weekend. I think we got rooms for like $75 each room, split 2 ways. I can't help you with camping, but might be able to give you some insite after next weekend.

 

State Park is cheap, but they want you to be quiet and they used to close the gate at 10 pm. Kind of hard to sneak your bike in after 10, but it can be done. Don't ask me how I know.

Just remember to call your doctor if you pitch a tent for more than 4 hours!
