So I'm starting to plan a route to Austin from Colorado Springs. I could go south thru Sante Fe, maybe stop in for lunch in Madrid, then head over through Fort Sumner and east into Texas, or, the quicker way - go through Raton and head east through Clayton, Dumas, Dalhart and south to Amarillo and Abilene and into the hill country before heading east to Austin. Anyone able to intersect either of those routes?

 

ROT is a good rally. Well worth a trip in my books. See you there---somewhere in the crowd ----maybe. Big crowd.
