Why trash me, I've been riding a long time, owned 13 Harleys in 16 years, have tattoos, but I guess I get bent when I see others making fun of guys who may be new to this and wonder why they are giving them crap about how they dress and act. My motto is "let those who ride decide". If another rider isn't acting or dressing like you want him to then you don't have to ride or hang around with them. Just don't trash them !!

You're a real biker when the training wheels come off.

I see some post and replies around that reference a biker wannabe, OK what do you feel you do that makes you a REAL biker ?? I see people making fun of how others dress and act and would just like to know how a "real biker" is supposed to dress & act.
Check with fasthoss, he is going to straigten everything out in another post he is working on.

i dont know about what would be considered a real biker here, but i live in montreal quebec,
i dont own a car, i own 2 bikes, i ride to work every day, rain, wind or some sort of biblical
event (except plague of locusts, they get stuck in your teeth), i ride them more than i wash them,
and i enjoy every moment i can get out on them...as soon as the snow is off the roads i am out,
and at the end of the season i am riding into the -10 deg till it ices up....as long as you love riding,
i think you are a biker....now where can i get the girl with the saggy ***** for the back of the bike,
i though they came standard with the purchase of the bike...?

When I hear or read others making fun of the folks who might be new, it makes me wonder if the one's making fun aren't the real "wannebes."
Me? I'm 56. Got my first motorcylce at age 12; have ridden many makes and models over the years; currently own a Wide Glide and an Ultra; I wear what I want to wear; I don't care what others wear or ride. I don't care if I'm calleda "biker" or not. I just like motorcyles.
