RE: Do your sons/daughters want Harleys?
Son has an '06 XL883C and is very satisified with his purchase. Daughter is still in college and in Aix-en-Provence, France now but she will be a senior next year and wants a Harley when she graduates and finds a job.....or maybe after graduate school...who knows???

Three kids, 2 girls and neither want anything to do with a bike and would rather I not have one. The boy would love a bike but he seems to gravitate towardsrice burners although if I ponied up the bucks I am sure he'd love his new Harley. He'd scare me to death since he has no sense of fear or self concern.

I've got two daughters. They are 26 and 32. The 32 year old wanted to learn to ride, soI signed her up for the new rider's course. She passed with flying colors, so I baught her a Buell Blast to run around on for a while. She chickened out and decided she'd rather ride bitch (her words, not mine). The 26 year old has no interest in riding at all, but she goes sky diving with me, so I guess that makes her cool too.

My son is 29 and races bikes as a hobby. H-D's aren't so much racers so he has a Yamaha R6. He likes that Mom and I ride H-D's though, and sometimes when he's over he'll grab one of ours and go for a ride.

I bought my son a Power Wheels HD when he was 5 . I told him he can have my bike when he graduates college. He's 11 now and can't wait to start taking classes.

My son is 30 and he reminds me every once in a while, that he is going to have some awesome toys, in a few years A 1964 SS Chevellewith a 468 big block Chevy, and my 07 cobalt pewter FLSTCI. I just say don't get impatient and start lusting over them, they still have good resale value, LOL!!!!!

My son has claimed my FXST since he was old enough to climb up on it. I have three other motorcycles in my garage, but he only wants the orange one. I'm planning on getting him started on dirt bikes as soon as he's ready. Below is my son on his bike.

Daughter, 31, has no interest, but worries when Dad takes Mom for a ride. Son, 29, is into his pick up truck with a suspension that goes up and down...mostly down and broken. He's finally thinking that Dad's advice, "don't mess with the suspension on a automobile", perhaps was good.
