Default Xzilon?

Has anyone had Xzilon treatment applied to their new bike? Is this for real or a waste of money?

Is that from personal experience or just hearsay?

Never heard of this product before...but there's nothing ground-breaking about it really...a good standard wax job will produce the same effect as this "miracle" coating...not worth the $$$ IMO

Except that a wax job can only be applied to the painted surfaces and last a week or so, this protects all surfaces but the pipes and is guaranteed for 5 years.

Xzilon is snake oil. Trust me. I worked at the dealership when we sold and applied it. This is the crap the dealer sells you as your "5 year-never-have-to-wax-your-car-again" crap for $700. Total scam.

Thanks, I appreciate a response from someone with experience with it. How do they get away with a 5 year guarantee? Do people just not bother to attempt to have it fulfilled?

The gurantee is what you're actually buying. The product is basically free. Think of the money you're spending as paint insurance. Don't buy the sales hype. The new sealants like Zaino Clear Seal, Ultima, and Opti-Seal are better and you can use them on all exterior surfaces.Glass, paint, chrome, mirrors, whatever. You'll spend $30-$40 dollars and get a better product and protection.
