nieghbors got a +4 springer from the seventies he plans on selling it to fund a hardtail project does any one know the best way to ship and about what the price would be

Its a springer it has twisted front stpring tube if thats what its called looks neat

Ya, call on it as you are doing. No need guessing with the $$ of fuel, thus shipping, these days.
JMFUO, but they will 'ding' him plenty, as it is 'over' sized, just like shipping exhaust, etc.
Course, he could cut it in half, and box it, then it wouldn't be 'over' sized any longer.
