Fear of a blowout

RE: Fear of a blowout
They only go flat on the bottom, just flip the tire over and be on your way
No seriously, I had a rear go flat a few months ago at about 70 mph, I started noticing that the bike felt "stiff" like it didn't want to turn, then I let off the throttle and the exhaust quieted down enough to hear the roar of the tire. Thankfully I was a HOG member, they paid half the tow, (I was in the middle of nowhere). I now carry a plug kit with c02 cartridges. Lesson learned.

RE: Fear of a blowout
If yer worried about a blow out (rapid loss of air pressure) run tubless tires that are rated for your bike, keep good tread, good air pressure, and watch where you are riding.
Doing those things will greatly reduce the possibility to slim.
Keep your riding skills sharp.
If all the above is not enough to get you comfortable...check into the police type tires that hold their shape even with no air pressure.
