Actually it is one of the modular-full-face ones. I still have young children, who I REQUIRE to wear bicycle helmets, so I must set the example also!! Besides, they deserve the best chance of their "Mommy" always coming back home healthy!

My wife and I both have 1/2 helmets. Wearing it is a 50/50 thing. Sometimes it just feels right to have it on. I tried a full face and really felt confined and could not hear a thing around me. I felt like a horse with blinders on. Altough I do beleive the full face would give the most protection.

I wear a Shoei full face with graphics, looks cool and when you're as good lookin' as me you just owe it to the women of the world not to smear your mug down a dozen yards of asphalt..........
Seriously, I kissed the highway on my Triumph last summer doing about 65 and walked away with bumps and bruises. Good armored riding gear and a full face helmet might not fit the Harley image, but it'll save your *** if you need it.

I always used to wear a full face until I got the FLHT. The heat buildup was brutal! Seems with the fairing, I can't get any real air flow to the vents on the helmet. Of course, this is in Houston, Texas where 100+ heat with 95% humidity is the summer standard. I have since moved to Chicago and I am still looking for a good alternative. I am considering one of those flip full face helmets. I hear they are much improved over those of a few years ago.
