novilty helmit - just more comfortable - have a full face for long rides

 

I wear a HD fitted BB cap(backward) or a rag or wrap or nothing. Depends how I feel that day. I was riding when PA. instituted the helmit law and I complied, now the law is no more so the Helmit is no more. If I go to a state that requires one I take a shorty DOT. approved with me.

 

I wear an Arai 3/4 with flip shield or an Arai full face, depending on my preference for that day. I am helmeted even in states with no requirement.

 

I prefer my DOT 1/2 most of the time. Full face when it's cold and somewhere I got a 3/4. One for every occasion I guess.

 

I own a brain bucket, but here in the Hoosier state we are free to punish our faces and heads with the elements. I exercise my freedom. In the warm weather, I prefer a leather golf type hat worn backwards. You see, I'm hair impaired, must keep the UV's off my solar panel. In the cold weather, I wear a fur lined mad bomber hat and neoprene face mask if necessary.

I wear a 3/4 with face shield in the winter. A half helmet in the summer.

 

I have a Caberg Justissimo which is a full face helmet but you can remove the chin guard to convert to 3/4 so Ican change as the mood takes me. I like the look of the new caberg Breeze which is 3/4 with a flip down visor.
Here in the Uk no helmet is not an option. Back in the 60s & early 70s we often went without in the summer and I must admit I quite enjoyed it.

 

The wife and I have all of them - half, three quarter, full and flip front full. It all depends on weather and mood which ones come off the shelf. And yes, we occasionally ride without if we are out in the country.

3/4 w/face shield right now. I'll get a half helmet before it gets burning here.

I won't go without one. I just don't feel right with out it.
