I have a half helmet and full face. I prefer the 1/2 helmet for comfort and less restriction. Haven't worn the full face in years.

 

I have an Airframe. Icon makes solid helmets. Lightweight, good ventilation onmine, but it's an Aramid hybrid. The shield is a PITA to swap, but I just leave the tinted mirrored on all the time, it is light enough to use even at night and I need my sunglass scripts during the day.

It gets hot, but I just crack the visor and it lets tons of air in. If you have a square jaw like me, it is tight in the jaw, but the cheekpads can usually be swapped.

Recently my gasket on the bottom let go, I just stuck it back on with 3m automotive emblem tape, no glue would stick to the material (probaby due to Aramid or the great paint).

 

I bought a 610 atomic-man helmet from masei .. DOT approved and built based on Open Face Helmet with front mask.. A good try!

Biltwell Bonanza 3/4 in Classic white with glasses. I have a 1/2 but its too noisy with or without a shield. I can't stand a FF but wear in COLD weather to prevent frost bite. It's my happy medium considering i don't like wearing at all.

 

How is your field of vision? I wear a 1/2 because I have unrestricted view all the way around. That looks cool but scary to think of what I might miss. How do you like it?

 

Half helmet here and I would not be caught dead wearing a chrome German style hemet.

I ride with either a FLY .357 or no helmet right now. Plan on securing myself an Akoury soon.

 

I have 3. A lid, a real half, and a full face for nasty weather.
