I'm refering to a report I read about the Symax helmet where it was tested at 70 MPH and the wind dislodged the chin bar when in the UP position as well as creating severe head buffeting. I didn't mean it would tear your face off...lol. Just the face of the helmet. And not in a crash, but because of the wind.
I also understand that the Stealth is designed differently, with riding in the up position figured into the design.

I have a 70's metalic-flake 3 quarter my dad gave a few years ago. But I don't wear it now cause I out grew it. Also I have a full faced from my sportbike days.
For the time being I have a (novelty)skull for my bucket until I find a DOT helmet that I like and feel comfy in.

Personally I wear a skid lid most of the time, ( And I do know that in a wreck it will be about as usefull as Spittin in the fire) I also have a Full face , but I have neck trouble and it bothers my neck after awhile. But its like my brother said after his wreck and reconstructive surgery on his Eye socket

I really wouldn't mind knocking my noodle and having to do some rehab for a while, but I would REALLY hate going to the dentist afterwords! So I wear a full face helmet. I would just hate to have to have repeat visits at the dentist after a laydown.

I'm trying to find someone who can airbrush a new full face for me that looks like a skull. I have examples of the art, and the $, I just need to find someone I trust. One of my best friend's bro-in law is a fantastic tat artist, but he says he's too busy to goof with the airbrush. I thanked him and said I was glad his business is going so well!
