A seat is your best lowering kit for the dollar. just shop on line most post stock seat heights and aftermarket heights. or just get custom seat made for you locally.. use gel or high density foam.. Corbin company is only company i know that uses gel seat.. but again what do i know... lowering can help but it gets costly... do your reseach well.... my seat isa corbin and seat height is 24.5 inches.. i'm sure if you talk with aftermarket companys and explain your situation, they can accommadate you.. good luck

My Son-in-law is on the short side,

He bought a V-Rod and had it lowered.

This bike is amazing well balanced, with a low center of gravity that makes it easy to lean over when stopped and not have the bike want to fall over. It is really a nice setup.

If you have been riding for a long time then you do not need to worry about being able to flat foot a bike. If this is your first bike then you mike consider looking for a used 1200 sportster or even an 883. They are lighter and sometimes faster when tuned right. You can find used ones for under $8000.00.

You will need to go to the dealership and sit on a bunch of bikes and then see if you can test ride or borrow a bike from a friend.

Good Luck!

Bad Idea.....[:@]

Sporty's, although often referred to as a girls bike [8D], is top heavy....

+1 with Twiggy for the Deluxe......-1 with Twiggy on the pics....

My wife, all 5' 2" of her rides a Deluxe (not lowered).

A friend's wife, all 4' 11" and 95 lbs, also a Deluxe...

Don't much about the Dyna series.....

Go to the dealer and check them all out, the softail sits the lowest I believe. Custom seat will lower even more. Wife is short her problem was she could not reach shifter/brake with forward controls.

Any ideas? I very badly want to buy a HD, interested in the Street Bob or Low Rider...however..I am 5'2, 100 lbs. I cannot flatfoot on the Street Bob. How much will a lowering kit bring it down?Other suggestions?
try a deluxe...my wife can handle that good

My wife originally had a '96 1200 Sportster then moved to a '99 Lowrider. I customized it for her and for better highway riding. It fit her perfect, she's 5'2" and 120 lbs.. She has since moved on to an '07 RK Custom. A lowrider is a great bigtwin for a vertically chalenged person. I think she misses it at times. Here's a photo, it's lowered and has a custom seat.
