Thinning long hair, Goatee, mustache, no tats,or peircings, I've looked this way most of my adult life. Through most of my jobs, and I've had several. Now own a Go-Kart track, and a 20 lot mobile home park, that will never make up for the loss of my Dad. I would give it right back to have him with me again. Never really cared what others think. I've not asked for nothing. I'm just me.

I work as a cna and I take care of profoundly handicapped kids.
Ride a harley and have more tats than you can shake a stick at.........go figure.
People get over it to some degree. I don't think Proctor & Gamble are going to look at me as CEO material any time in the future.
"Imagine that, PUH me......workin for you"
Proctor & Gamble can kiss my Azz anyway.

My hair used to be long until the army got a hold of me, and I just never changed it.
I have nothing against facial hair. However, most Taliban women have greater success than I do growing a moustache, beard, or goatee.
I guess probably armpit & chest hair, too, for that matter...

RE: The biker look and career choice. A question.
I started riding almost 40 years ago. When I was a teenager (late 60's early 70's) I wanted to look the part. It was the hippy era.
From college days until I was in my 30's I worked as a professional musician. I could pretty much look any way I wanted. After that, somehow, I evolved into being a cop! I hung that up almost a decade ago yet somehow still look the part. In my business I train police and military so it's advantagous to fit inand relate to them on their level. When I retire I'll dress like a jazz musician/cop/biker or some combiation thereof andI won't give a dang what anyone thinks about it.

First off, I grew out of trying to look like a hard core biker.when I did play the part it was accepted, long beard and all. Then was a lineman for local utility, now a troubleshooter.

Dress code here, though I wear my leather every day that I ride, which is fortunately most every day.Clean and shaved headin the Summer, grow it all out in the winter. No ink or bling by choice though since my 6 week ride through Baja, Mexico, and Guatemala, I have lots 'o visions in my head that I am considering inking somewhere.
