A good use for loud pipes
My riding buddy has a set of Wild Pigs on his EGC and they are LOUD! I like their sound much better than my SE Street Perf S/Os, even after my TD conversion. He told me the other day that he routinely raps the throttle whenever he finds himself next to a cager who's blabbing on the phone. Since he told me that I've come to realize that my SE pipes just aren't loud enough. I was fine with them before but my absolute disgust with and apathy for phone-wielding cagers has left me dissatisfied with the sound of my pipes. Soooo... I'm not in the market for a new set of S/Os. Will probably go with V&H ovals to match my V&H dresser duals.
If you're reading this then I implore you to fight the scourge that is cagers on cell phones. Give them a long, healthy blast of your exhaust to send them a message that they are the REAL danger on our American roads. Not us bikers.

Sorry I cant agree with you on this.As dangerous as cell phone cagers are this will only **** them off more at us.We dont need anymore bad publicity over loud exhaust. I enjoy my v/h straitshots and dont want to have to take them off but if we keep pissing off John Q Public sooner or later loud exhaust will be a thing of the past.

I would have to agree on this one just the other day on my way into work a fellow co-worker came up on my right he was on his phone and I gave him a loud rap from my Reinharts. When we gt to work he was tellin everyone I was so loud he had to hang up on his call...I just laughed all night.
