In the old days you just leaned. You didn't push the bar. Back in the 60's or early seventies, the technique was called European Road Style or something like that. I didn't give a ***** what the Europeans did (still don't). But there it is.

Anyone that rides should counter steer. This is the number one deffensive tool that you have in your arsenal to avoid a crash.

You can't counter steer a bagger when you are going 5 mph. Or counter steer to turn a U-EY!

I bet this guys wishes he knew how!

Hard to say. I think you don't lay a bike over that far without countersteering, unless you have locked up the rear brake and are out of control. I don't see skid marks...?

He looks to me as if he started the turn late, or from too high of a speed, or was just passing someone over the yellow lines, or just picked the wrong line, or something dumb like that. Maybe all of the above.

In any event, he appears to be in deep shlit. [:@]

looks like that guy is leaned over to the max..sparkin

he just went into the turn too hot, too late or on a bad line
if you don't countersteer and just lean, the bike is too slow to react but even then you are countersteering but just more slowly.

Maybe that's a deer under the bike. Looks like a jacket or something.

I'm more concerned about how it turned out for the guy minding his own business in his own lane that this guy is making a bee line for.
