I sent 2 bikes and an enclosed trailer to Canada back in Feb. The recall letter is easily got from the dealer even if it is a private sale. Had to Fax copies of the titles and had to have the originals when crossing the border. You also need a copy of the cashiers check where you pay for it. It was a really simple process and after we got it finished it came off with out any problems. You can call or check the web site, the process is explained very well.

All good info here. I just (2weeks agao) brought back a nightster from RI.

The process isn't all that bad..Just double check to ensure you have everything you need, and make lots of copies.
Saved myself lots, and seeing our dealer can't even get one now.I done good
