What would the point be? Are you at such a high compression or ignition advance that you are pinging?

I can see doing it if you have high compression and have to back the timing off to compensate, but otherwise it wont really do anything for you except maybe not burn as completely and leave carbon deposits behind.

Most racing fuel has lead in it.If you have a cat or closed loop EFI, that would be bad to do.

If not, running a little leaded racing fuel once in a while wouldn't hurt anything. It would help anything, either. No point. Wasted money and effort.

Dude when you mix a lesser octane fuel with a higher octane fuel you end with the lesser of the two...I.E. mixing 89 octane with 103 octane will give you more closer to the 89 than the 103.Octane has NOTHING to do with a lean situation unless it a lesser octane wich will cause preignition ,,,not a lean issue....Run the 9 $ a gallon **** for what,,,,the smell...93tane is plenty till you start bumpin the compression up..

Unless you have a high compression motor set up to run that fuel, you will actually lose power by buring the racing fuel. More, in this case, is not better.
